Pisces Full Moon – August 26, 2018; 4:56am PDT

The Full Moon is the peak of the Moon’s cycle and represents a time of culmination. Feelings and emotions are often in the forefront during this time and this is especially true when the Moon is in the sign of Pisces. Pisces is the most mystical and sensitive of the water signs and represents our direct connection to Source. Its influence reminds us that we are all one and if we live our physical lives from a higher vibration, with love and gratitude, we can change our reality. At the time of the Full Moon, the planets Jupiter and Neptune are in a beautiful aspect to each other. Jupiter is Pisces’ ancient ruler and Neptune is Pisces’ modern ruler. This adds emphasis to the strong emotional, intuitive, and spiritual energy of this Full Moon. Pay attention to your dreams and any ‘downloads’ that you get. Our connection to Source is reinforced with this configuration, so if we ask for guidance it is likely that we will get the answers we need. The influence of this watery energy can also make us feel confused or even overwhelmed. It’s important to stay grounded now, so spend time in nature – stand barefoot on the Earth.

With Pluto, the planet of power, in a challenging aspect to Venus, the planet of love and relationships, we may find ourselves embroiled in highly emotional power struggles, or being the victim of manipulation. This energy can also bring an intense sexual relationship into our lives which can feel karmic, perhaps even compulsive. If this happens, be sure to stay aware of the balance of power within the relationship. If it feels comfortable and equal, embrace it. This relationship could be very transformational.
This Full Moon is also accompanied by a Grand Earth trine involving the planets; Saturn, Uranus, and the Sun. Globally, this is very positive for innovative ideas to be brought forth that are viable long-term solutions to difficult issues, especially concerning sustainability and the Earth.

During this time of the Moon in Pisces, we are connected to the Divine. However, the Sun is across the chart in the sign of Virgo, keeping us aware of day-to-day practicalities that must be attended to. This Full Moon can highlight areas where we have imbalances in our lives, especially related to our spirituality. Do we spend too much time on our devices, engaged with the TV, or worrying about work and not enough time taking a moment to sit quietly and just breathe? Think about that during this Full Moon and remember that we are spiritual beings enjoying a physical life. Let’s take time to appreciate that spirituality.
