There is a sense of moving forward at the beginning of November as Venus moves from an introspective cycle in Scorpio to an expressive time in Sagittarius. This is very outward looking, forward thinking energy and prompts us to be ready for adventure, to come out of our comfort zone and explore new things. There’s a ‘love of life’ feel connected to this so do something to add excitement to your life and to go after new experiences. It’s a cosmic invitation to go for whatever you’ve put off or been too withdrawn to try. It’s beautiful energy that will be with us until the end of the month.

Also, early in the month Mars in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn. This will be most intense around the 4th, 5th, and 6th but the energy will linger for a while. This is about a clash of power – your will being at odds with someone else’s. You may find that adjustments are needed to the way you are interacting with others. A compromise may be necessary. This energy can be a bit obsessive and so when you meet an obstacle your frustration can be heightened. The blocks that could arise can be from your own personality or from something external – authority figures, societal, or structural conditioning. The obstacle may delay or prevent you from accomplishing something that is important to you. Because Pluto and Mars are both intense, this combination can be a bit volatile. Pluto is about depth and what is hidden or suppressed, so this combination can also stir up things/emotions that you thought you’d handled or that you’ve ignored. There may be something you’ve put up with for a while and now you find that you can’t do it any longer. This is a time when we have lessons in the right use of power and how manipulation ultimately comes back to bite us.

This is also a good time to really anchor in a dream or idea of something that you want to accomplish. You may be getting very close to achieving something that you’ve been working on since February. This energy asks us to look at what is realistically needed in order to make that particular dream or goal come to fruition. An important thing to keep in mind is that this is a time when we need to be clear about who we are and show the quality of that to others. Don’t shy away from speaking up about something that you know you have the experience or wisdom to speak about. Let your light shine. You may also find that this is a very creative time. Pay attention to downloads or dreams that come to you. Intuition is heightened now. This weekend is excellent for meditation and/or reflective journaling. If you have to make an important decision this weekend, be sure to dig deep into what’s being offered. Ask probing questions and use your intuition to make sure that what you’re hearing jives with what you’re feeling. You may not have all the facts so don’t jump prematurely.

We have an interesting occurrence on November 11th, the day before the Full Moon. This day marks the midway point of Mercury’s retrograde cycle. The worst is over (related to the retrograde) and things will begin to calm down now. Mercury only transits the Sun 13 times in a century and in a lot of ways this brings an energy similar to that of an eclipse. It resonates outward and stays with us for six months. Mercury represents how we think, communicate, and learn so this can be a time when we get insight into a situation or discover a piece of missing information that we needed to move forward or complete something. A seed gets planted that brings clarity or a mystery that has been bothering you or holding you back is solved.

What is particularly interesting about this event is the date. 11 is a Master Number in numerology and if you have experienced the time stamp phenomenon of seeing 11:11 then you realize that this combination of day, the Sun, and Mercury brings a clear message from the Universe to become more conscious and aware of what is happening in our lives and globally. When I see 11:11, I think of it as being presented with two doorways, a choice of some kind. Pay attention to what is being offered at this time and be open to direct ‘downloads’ from Spirit. We are now moving rapidly toward the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January 2020. Begin the manifestation process and allow yourself to be intuitively guided toward your path.

On November 12th at 5:34am PST we have a beautiful Full Moon at 19º Taurus. Taurus is well grounded and brings stability – something that we will all appreciate after the discordant energy we’ve experienced. The Moon loves being in Taurus and is particularly strong there. This energy is very sensual, verdant – it is linked to fertility, abundance, and nature. This is an excellent time to reconnect with the Earth. Go out and forest bathe, stand barefoot on the ground, take some deep breaths and let Mother Earth absorb the yucky stuff that you no longer need. She can handle it and knows how to dissipate it. This Full Moon energy is also very creative and inventive. It strengthens our ability to manifest what we desire in this life. We are experiencing some very positive energy connecting the Moon, Neptune, and Mercury so don’t be surprised if your creativity, intuition, and sensitivity are heightened during this time. I can’t emphasize enough the important of paying attention to the ‘downloads’ you get!

On November 19th, transiting Jupiter is exactly conjunct the Galactic Center. This falls at 26-27º Sagittarius. This is the center of our Milky Way Galaxy and is the source of energetic particles that bath the Earth. In the last few years, the Earth’s magnetic field has weakened and shifted a bit and this has allowed these energetic particles to make their way into the Earth’s energy field. This phenomenon is thought to open up our sub-conscious mind and urge us to release old suppressed wounds and traumas that block our forward movement. It is said that the Galactic Center is a transmitter of Divine Consciousness. With Jupiter interacting with this point, we can expect any ‘messages’ transmitted to us to be expanded. Pay Attention! This is a time when we are able to receive high-level information from cosmic sources. If you have any planets or points in your birth chart in this area, you may be particularly sensitive to this energy. Remember, that whenever we are more sensitive intuitively and energetically, we are also more sensitive physically. Take care of your body.
